Music by CBS Records artists is consistently utilized prominently in CBS/CW programming, and the label’s first soundtrack release – NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack – is one of the top-selling television soundtracks in the country. The new CBS Records is not related to the former CBS Records business or its artists or assets, which were acquired by Sony in 1988.
